Directors Dan Oaker (dan@steelbuildinsandcladding.co.uk) and Adam Clark (adam@steelbuildingsandcladding.co.uk) began the Company back in 2002 after a successful partnership within the construction industry dating back to 1998. At that time they were honing their dry lining skills under the watchful eye of Ray Budge (ray@steelbuildingsandcladding.co.uk) , who having predicted that pupil would one day turn teacher, is currently employed by First Fix. The team has over 75 years of construction experience.

The directors hands on approach, they can be seen on site getting their hands dirty, ensures that targets are met and that contracts are delivered on time and on budget. They pride themselves on being able to deliver a contract from a hole in the ground to a completed building from within the company. The demand for cold rolled steel buildings has increased dramatically over the years and the company can assist with hot rolled steel if the needs arise.

Over cladding can bring an existing building back to life and is an option to be considered for older buildings, as there is a very good choice of cladding available.

Other activities in construction include ground works and footings, brickwork and carpentry, plastering and rendering, and dry lining. We have a fleet of vans fully kitted out, we are dedicated to Health and Safety policies, our operatives are CSCS registered and they are subject to regular training.

Our activities have taken us as far a field as the Grand Prix Circuit in Bahrain to the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey, and from Somerset to Cumbria. Our clients include DHL packaging, The National Grid, Heathrow Airport, CPL Distributions and Local Authority Colleges and Schools.
